Dark Chocolate Trail Mix Bark via SoFabFood
Ingredients:
1 lb. Dark chocolate, chopped
1 c. Trail mix
1/4 c. Coconut chips, dried and toasted
1/2 tsp. Sea salt
Directions:
Melt the chocolate in a microwave for 30-second increments until completely smooth. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour melted chocolate atop, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle trail mix, coconut and salt onto the chocolate and refrigerate for 10 minutes until set. Break apart with a knife once completely set.
Cinnamon Sugar Apple Chips via Diethood
Ingredients:
Apples
Cinnamon
Sugar
Directions:
Cut off the ends of the apples and core out the middle if desired before thinly slicing them into 1/8-inch rounds. Sprinkle both sides with cinnamon and sugar. Line a microwave-safe plate with parchment paper and lay slices out in a single layer. Microwave for five minutes or until the edges begin to curl up. Flip each slice and microwave for another 30 seconds or until the edges are crisp. Remove from the microwave and let stand for 10 minutes. Repeat this process over again until all slices are cooked.
Rosemary Sesame Pecans via POPSUGAR
Ingredients:
1 c. Demerara sugar
1 tbsp. Kosher salt
1 tbsp. Minced rosemary
1/4 c. Sesame seeds
2 Egg whites
4 c. Pecan halves
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300 degrees and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Combine the sugar, salt, rosemary and sesame seeds together in a bowl. In a second bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy before adding in the pecans. Add the herb mixture to the pecans and toss to coat. Spread the pecans onto the baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until they are toasted.
