Celebrating a #SweetSpicySummer with Four Roses Bourbon

We’ve teamed up with our friends at Four Roses Bourbon to celebrate the sweet and spicy tastes of summer with flavorful cocktail recipes featuring yours truly. All summer long we’ll be sharing a host of our favorite recipes over on our Instagram, as well as right here on our blog. We’re kicking it off this week with two of our favorite #SweetSpicySummer favorites, the Tropical Sunset and the Garden Party. Grab the recipes below!

Garden Party

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz. Four Roses Bourbon

3/4 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

1/2 oz. 100% Pomegranate Grenadine

2” - 3” Rosemary Sprig

3 oz. Barritt’s Ginger Beer

2 dashes Angostura Bitters

2 pinches Cayenne Pepper

Directions:

In a glass, muddle the rosemary sprig and grenadine. Add the bitters, lemon juice, cayenne pepper and Four Roses Bourbon. Add ice and Barritt’s Ginger Beer to the glass and stir briefly. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and lemon wheel.

Tropical Sunset

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz. Four Roses Small Batch

6 dice-size chunks Pineapple

1-2 slices Habanero (remove seeds for less spice)

1/2 oz. Lime Juice

3 oz. Barritt’s Ginger Beer

2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Directions:

In a shaker, muddle the pineapple and habanero. Add Four Roses Bourbon, lime juice and ice and shake briefly. Open the shaker and add 2 oz. Barritt’s Ginger Beer. Strain all contents into a glass with ice. Top with 1 oz. Barritt’s Ginger Beer. Flat 2 dashes of Angostura over the drink and garnish with a lime wedge.
