Thanksgiving can be a bit of a nostalgic time with the usual, hardy dishes and the ritual of preparing and sharing a meal with those who matter most to us. Surrounded by familiarity, we finally get a chance to relax, unwind and appreciate those around us -- add some classic cocktails worth giving thanks for into the mix and life couldn't get much better!

Cape Cod Mule

Ingredients:

2 oz. Tito’s Vodka

2 oz. Cranberry juice

4 oz. Barritt’s Ginger Beer

Lime wedge

Directions: 

Combine vodka, cranberry juice and Barritt’s Ginger Beer into an ice filled copper mug. Garnish with lime wedge.

Rum Berry Cocktail via Kitchen Sanctuary

3 oz. Spiced rum

17 oz. Pomegranate juice

1 oz. Triple sec

8 oz. Barritt's Ginger Beer

2 cups Mixed berries

Fresh thyme

Directions: 

Stir spiced rum, pomegranate juice, triple sec and Barritt's Ginger Beer in a large jug. Fill four to six glasses with frozen berries halfway and top with the cocktail. Garnish with fresh berries and a sprig of fresh thyme.

Johnny Apple Mule

Ingredients: 

2 oz. Rye whiskey

2 oz. Apple cider

2-4 oz. Barritt’s Ginger Beer

Directions: 

Shake rye whiskey and apple cider in a cocktail shaker. Strain into an ice-filled glass and top with Barritt’s Ginger Beer. Garnish with a lemon slice.
