Drinking Away the Dog Days of Summer

There’s no denying that some of the best memories are made in the heat of the sizzling summer months. As the days wear on and the temps continue to heat up, having a cocktail within reach at all times becomes a necessity. Drink away the dog days of summer with these fizzy and fruity Moscow Mules featuring yours truly, Barritt's Ginger Beer.

Just Peachy Moscow Mule via Waiting On Martha

Ingredients:

1 1/2 oz. peach vodka

1/2 oz. fresh lime juice

1/2 cup Barritt's Ginger Beer

2 stems of fresh mint

1 peach, peeled and sliced

Lime wedges, peaches and mint for garnish

Ice cubes

Directions:

Muddle 1/2 fresh peach and fresh mint in mug. Add vodka, lime juice and ice cubes. Top with Barritt's Ginger Beer and stir to combine. Garnish with lime wedges, peach slices and mint.

Watermelon Moscow Mule via The Kitchenarium

Ingredients:

8 cups frozen watermelon, cubes

1/2 cup fresh lime juice

1/2 cup Tito's Vodka

1/4 cup mint leaves

12 oz. Barritt's Ginger Beer

Lime wedges, watermelon and mint for garnish

Directions:

Blend frozen watermelon, lime juice, Tito's Vodka and mint leaves on high until well combines. Distribute between four copper mugs and top off with Barritt's Ginger Beer. Garnish with lime wedges, watermelon and mint. 

Ocean Blue-Berry Moscow Mule via Strawberry Blondie Kitchen

Ingredients:

2-3 oz. blueberry vodka

3 mint leaves

12 oz. Barritt's Ginger Beer

Crushed ice

Blueberries for garnish

Directions:

In copper mug, muddle mint leaves. Add in crushed ice and top with blueberry vodka. Squeeze in the juice of one lime and top with ginger beer. Garnish with blueberries.
