Longer Days, Happier Hours

The temps are finally rising, beaches are filling up and patio parties are no longer a thing of the past, which can only mean that summer is finally here. With summer's arrival comes longer days, making for happier happy hours. The earlier the sun rises and the later it sets results in more time after work to gather your crew for an outdoor soirée. In celebration of sunny days that are here to stay, we're sharing some of our favorite cocktail recipes to accompany you on all of your summer adventures.

Ginger Raspberry Crush via The Cookie Rookie

Ingredients:

1 c. Raspberries

3 oz. Tito's Vodka

1 tbsp. Agave nectar

2 tbsp. Fresh lemon juice

Barritt's Ginger Beer

Lemon slices

Directions:

Muddle the raspberries and split evenly between two glasses. Add agave nectar, lemon juice and ice. Split Tito's Vodka between the two and top with Barritt's Ginger Beer. Garnish each with extra raspberries and lemon slices.

Ginger Peach Sangria Crush via Lemon and Zest

Ingredients:

1 bottle Pinot Grigio

36 oz. Barritt's Ginger Beer

2 Peaches

1 Lemon

1/4 c. Peach Schnapps

2 tbsp. Honey 

Directions:

Slice peaches and lemons and add to a pitcher. Top with Barritt's Ginger Beer, Pinot Grigio and Peach Schnapps before stirring to combine. If desired, add honey to sweeten and stir to dissolve. Chill before serving.

Pineapple Rum Sunset Punch via The Kitchn

Ingredients:

20 oz. Canned pineapple rings

1 c. Grenadine

1 c. White rum

1/2 c. Campari

46 oz. Unsweetened pineapple juice

1/2 c. Lime juice

12 oz. Barritt's Ginger Beer

Directions:

Place pineapple rings on a parchment-lined baking sheet and freeze until firm. Combine grenadine, white rum and Campari in a pitcher. Stir until combined before adding pineapple juice, lime juice and Barritt's Ginger Beer. Pour into ice-filled glasses and garnish with frozen pineapple rings.
